Retreat Information 2011

Retreat Report and Thank You

The PPDP 2011 Retreat was again held at the Hideaway set among the trees with a fantastic view of Pikes Peak. After ironing out wheelchair and accessibilities problems our retreat began Friday evening and ended Sunday afternoon. We painted two larger projects one a beautiful faux cloisonné of a hibiscus flower and the second major project a glass block with an art shop storefront with many, many special touches. Our third project was a quick and easy fall piece.

I would like to thank all the attendees and my hard working committee for all their work. A very special thank you goes to Kay Kozak, Janet Gropp, Lois Sanford and Julie Becker. Without all their tireless work prior to and throughout the weekend we would not have had the tremendously successful retreat that we all experienced. We all hope you will start thinking now about attending the retreat next year, September 7 - 9, 2012.
